Using Temporary Agencies

When a department requires temporary staffing and the employment of students is impractical or inappropriate, schools and centers may engage temporary staff through University-approved vendors. Temporary staff hired through a vendor are not employees of the University and are not eligible for compensation or benefits through the University

If a department decides to offer regular employment in a University position to an employee from a temporary staffing agency, the department is responsible for any fee(s) associated with the placement.
