Posting of Position Openings

The University of Pennsylvania requires posting of non-faculty position openings within the University for at least seven (7) calendar days before hiring a candidate to fill the position.

Position details should be updated through HR Manager. Ensure all areas of the Position Inventory Questionnaire reflect the current position. Once the position grade and classification is approved by the compensation specialist, the position will be posted on the Jobs@Penn website, and you can begin to review applications.  If you need additional information on working with the Applicant Tracking System (PeopleAdmin), visit http://www.hr.upenn.edu/files/training/recruitment/pa7/story.html.


Job openings are posted daily on the Penn website.

Penn employees are required to apply for jobs online. You can contact us online or call 215-898-7287 to obtain the name of the hiring officer. All applicants must submit an on-line application to be considered for any position.
