Employment Advertising

Hiring managers may elect to post their active jobs on sites other than the Jobs@Penn website. Only active jobs should be placed on external job sites.

All staff position postings that are advertised in the media external to the University must have the Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity (EEO) and disclaimer statements, to ensure they are consistent, professional, and compliant with University policy and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. See Penn Affirmative Action

Human Resources is available to assist with wording, format, media placement and approved vendor contact information.

The cost of advertisements is the responsibility of the department or administrative unit in which the position opening is located. Proof of advertising placement must be submitted with the hiring proposal when the position is filled.
