Applicant Testing

Any questions regarding applicant testing should be referred to Human Resources/Recruitment and Staffing at (215) 898-7287. Applicant testing for staff is administered by the school/center or our temporary staff provider. 

Any test (oral, written, or physical) used for the screening and selection of applicants for staff positions at the University will be administered in accordance with the terms of the University’s Affirmative  Action Program.  Any screening tests administered will comply with legal standards for job-relatedness, statistical reliability, and validity. Any test administered will be required for all applicants. All tests must be approved by the Vice President of Human Resources (or designee).

Test results may be discussed with the Hiring Officers as a part of a candidate’s qualifications for the position.


If during the recruitment process the Hiring Officer elects to waive the test for one applicant, the test must be waived for all applicants.
