The minimum hourly wage paid to all weekly-paid employees on hourly compensation plans (i.e., in non-exempt positions) is regulated by the U.S. Department of Labor federal minimum wage or the Pennsylvania state minimum wage, whichever is higher. Currently, the federal minimum wage and the minimum wage in Pennsylvania are both set at $7.25 per hour.
