The University of Pennsylvania provides a long-term disability plan for employees who are unable to work due to a qualifying disability. Penn’s LTD plan pays up to 60% of salary, inclusive of Social Security, not to exceed $7,500 per month. The University continues coverage for dental, basic life insurance, retirement, and tuition programs. The employee and the University share in the cost of medical and dental coverage.
