AppleOne is Penn’s preferred provider of temporary services. The University of Pennsylvania began a partnership with the Act-1 Group, AppleOne, the largest woman- and minority-owned staffing agency in North America, on July 1, 2016.

Using AppleOne’s Vendor Management System (VMS)

AppleOne’s Acceleration VMS technology is used for submitting job requests, creating purchase orders, engaging new temporary staff, and onboarding them. Acceleration VMS is also the timecard system for AppleOne temporary employees provided to the University. 

If you are a Penn Marketplace user, you can access Acceleration VMS by logging into the Penn Marketplace website. After you log in with your PennKey, select the AppleOne icon under Supplier Showcase. On the lower portion of the home screen there is a link to the UPENN Manager Reference Guide. This helpful tool will aid you in navigating Acceleration VMS.
