Lactation
nurses with Penn’s Department of Women’s Health offer a support line (215-662-2361) for breastfeeding questions and concerns. A lactation nurse will return your call within 24-48 hours. Childbirth and parent education programs are offered free of charge for Penn staff and faulty. These classes fill fast, early registration is recommended.

Pennsylvania Hospital offers a support
line (215-829-3644), a lactation center, pre-natal breastfeeding classes, and support groups for breastfeeding parents. The hospital’s Solutions for Women boutique provides breastfeeding and maternity support products from nursing bras and abdominal
supports to breast pumps, breastfeeding pillows and more.
