Service Recognition Awards

The University’s annual service recognition program celebrates long-term commitment to the University. It honors full- and part-time faculty and staff with 10 or more years of service, celebrating five-year service milestones thereafter.  Recipients who have celebrated or will celebrate a milestone anniversary in the calendar year will receive a congratulatory email message in December with an invitation to select a recognition award.

The Quality of Work-Life team notifies Schools and Centers of their annual recipients. Some Schools, Centers, and Departments within the School of Medicine recognize individuals by sending letters from their respective Deans, Directors, or Department Chairs, and/or by hosting special events as part of the recognition process.
