Penn Launches Vaccination Website

News from April 1, 2021

The University has launched a Vaccination website for faculty, staff, postdocs, and students to access information about Penn’s vaccine distribution plan. Although vaccines are not mandatory, the University will facilitate access to vaccines to faculty, staff, postdocs, and students according to the vaccine phases established by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH). The website includes vaccine resources and links to state government websites so that you can explore all of your options for getting vaccinated.

Soon, the website will also provide details about the University’s on-campus vaccination site at Gimbel Gymnasium in the Pottruck Health and Fitness Center. Penn has received authorization from the PDPH to administer the vaccine on campus to eligible faculty, staff, postdocs, and students. The vaccination site will open mid-April, so be sure to visit the Getting Vaccinated webpage regularly for updates about how and when you can schedule an appointment should you be eligible.

We value your feedback about our vaccine efforts and ask that you take a few minutes to complete the Penn Wellness COVID-19 Vaccine Interest survey. Your answers will let us know that you are interested in receiving the vaccine on campus should you be eligible when it becomes available.
