Returning to Work at Penn
Full-Time
Retirees who return to work in a full-time capacity will be treated as active employees. All benefits and policies in effect for active employees will apply. If you are enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B, you need to contact Medicare at 1-800-633-4227 to inform them of your return to active employment. Upon subsequent retirement, the policies, procedures, and premiums in effect at that time will apply.
Temporary Assignment
Retirees who return to work at Penn on a temporary assignment are not eligible to participate in the medical program for active employees and will therefore remain in the retiree medical plan.
