There are many things to consider when you’re approaching retirement or enjoying your retirement—from medical benefits to retirement plan distributions. If you’re thinking about retiring from Penn, this site provides an overview of some important policies and benefits.
Changes to Retiree Billing
In July, the University of Pennsylvania announced that BRI COBRA LLC (BRI) will serve as the direct billing administrator effective October 1, 2022. This change affects retirees, long-term disability participants, and those paying for benefits via direct bill to Health Equity/WageWorks. This change will not affect coverage eligibility or rates. If you have questions about your coverage, please contact the Benefits Solution Center at 1-866-799-2329 or email us at HRbenefits@hr.upenn.edu.On the Move in Retirement
