There are many things to consider when you’re approaching retirement or enjoying your retirement—from medical benefits to retirement plan distributions. If you’re thinking about retiring from Penn, this site provides an overview of some important policies and benefits.

Benefits Annual Selection

Penn Benefits Annual Selection Period for retirees is an opportunity to review your current benefits and make changes for the upcoming calendar year. Although the annual selection period has ended, you can still read about plan changes by reviewing the 2019 Retiree and Long-Term Disability Annual Selection Guide.

All changes will be effective as of January 1, 2019.

Annual Selection Fair

Faculty and staff who are retired or are on Long-Term Disability participate in the Annual Selection Fair, which includes representatives from Blue Cross, Aetna, SilverScript, and Social Security. Watch for details about the next Annual Selection Fair coming in the Fall of 2019.
