Changes to Retiree Billing

In July, the University of Pennsylvania announced that BRI COBRA LLC (BRI) will serve as the direct billing administrator effective October 1, 2022. This change affects retirees, long-term disability participants, and those paying for benefits via direct bill to Health Equity/WageWorks. This change will not affect coverage eligibility or rates. If you have questions about your coverage, please contact the Benefit Solution Center at 1-866-799-2329 or email us at HRbenefits@hr.upenn.edu.

Benefits Annual Selection

The 2022 Benefits Annual Selection period was October 25 through November 12, 2021. Please review the 2022 Retiree and Long-Term Disability Annual Selection Guide for details about the plan year.

Be sure to keep your address current in Penn's records. There are three easy ways to update your mailing address AND your email address:

1. Log in to Workday with your PennKey and password at www.myworkday.com/upenn/login.html

2. Call the Penn Employee Solution Center at 215-898-7372
