Dental Coverage

Choose from two dental options: Penn Dental or MetLife. Your share, paid through pre-tax payroll deductions, depends on the plan you choose and whether you are covering dependents. For details, review the dental plan options and current rates.

To choose a dentist, check the provider directory for the Penn Dental plan or the provider directory for the MetLife plan. MetLife members aren’t restricted to using a dentist from the list, but it’s an excellent place to start looking for one. Penn Dental members can receive treatment from any dentist in the Penn Dental Family Practice offices.

Vision Coverage

Choose from three vision options: Davis Vision, VSP and VSP Choice. You pay for coverage through pre-tax payroll deductions. Your cost depends on the plan you choose and whether you are covering dependents. For details, review the vision plan options and current rates.

To choose an in-network eyecare provider, register for online access to your vision insurance company website and use the provider search function.  Alternately, you can call the provider at the phone number to the right of this page and ask for a list of the in-network providers.  You aren’t restricted to using an in-network eyecare provider, but the in-network provider list is a good place to start looking for one.
