Disability Coverage

Penn provides disability benefits for full-time faculty and staff members unable to work due to a covered illness or injury. Short-term disability coverage is for up to six months; long-term is for longer than six months.

Family and Medical Leave (FMLA)

Family and Medical Leave provides eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave for certain qualifying events.

Paid Parental Leave

The Paid Parental Leave Policy provides up to a maximum of four weeks of paid parental leave for full-time faculty and regular full-time and limited service staff.
