About The Tuition Benefits Programs
The University of Pennsylvania offers several tuition benefits for
employees and their families. Each benefit is outlined below, with
more detailed information available within the Human Resources Policy
manual. An overview
of eligibility for the tuition benefits is also available.
Tuition Assistance Programs for Faculty and Staff
The University offers full-time faculty, regular full-time staff and
limited service employees the opportunity to pursue knowledge and to advance
their personal and professional development by providing tuition assistance
for credit courses at the University of Pennsylvania. For more

Dependent Children Attending The University of Pennsylvania
This benefit has been designed to assist faculty and staff in meeting
the cost of tuition for their dependent children. Scholarships for Dependent
Children are administered by Human Resources/Benefits. For more

Dependent Children Attending Other Colleges (Direct Grant Program)
The Direct Grant Program for dependent children assists faculty and
staff in meeting the cost of college tuition for their children who attend
undergraduate programs at accredited colleges or universities other than the
University of Pennsylvania. For more information on the Direct Grant

Scholarships For Spouses Attending Penn
To recognize the University's commitment to higher education and to
assist faculty and staff in meeting the cost of tuition for spouses/same-sex
domestic partners, the University has developed the following policy.
