About Recruitment and Staffing

Our goal in Recruitment & Staffing is to help with your employment needs. Through advice and consultation, we assist you on how to:

  • Create and fill positions
  • Obtain qualified candidates
  • Place advertisements for open positions
  • Identify interview and reference questions that may or may not be asked legally
  • Evaluate applicants relevant to the position's qualifications
  • Set fair and equitable salaries that can be offered to the candidate
  • Make employment offers

We market Penn as having a unique culture: a historical perspective tempered by a commitment to the future. Combine this with the advantages of an Ivy League University in a major city, and it becomes clear why so many people want Penn to be their employer. The Recruitment & Staffing mission is to get this message out to those who are unaware of Penn; through job fairs, internet sourcing, college contacts, and other technologies as they become available. We evaluate those who are already interested in Penn to send our Hiring Officers the best and the most qualified candidates the area has to offer.
