Learning and Education is a department
within the Division of Human Resources at the University of Pennsylvania. We
provide the following services to Penn employees:
On-site Programs
Learning and Education offers courses in a traditional
classroom setting. Please browse through our Course Catalog to register
for courses.
The informational program “Getting Ahead: A Series for Young Professionals” is continuing this summer and fall. A full list of new sessions, as well as dates and registration information, is available through the Course Catalog or in the program flyer [PDF].
“The Penn Perspective” provides attendees with an overview of how Penn’s many departments, divisions, schools and centers function and work together. This two-day program has been offered annually for more than 20 years, and although the 2008 session has passed, you can still review many of the presentations that were given. Customized Training
Learning and Education is available for customized

Staff Career Center
The Career Center provides Penn staff with the opportunity to utilize various
career resources in a quiet, well-equipped setting. Peruse our collection of
books, articles, and videos, and use the Career Center’s computer to search

Video Rentals
Learning and Education has assembled a library of training
videos. Videos can only be rented with a valid budget number. Please contact
