How to Apply to the University of Pennsylvania

Our online application website allows candidates to easily search and apply for open staff positions. You may also use the site to create a personalized job profile so that you will receive automatic email notifications when new openings are posted that may be of interest to you or match your skills.

Interviews
Penn's Hiring Officers will contact highly qualified candidates directly to coordinate interviews. Prior to an interview, you will be asked to complete an online employment application if you have not already done so.

Over 50% of Penn's open positions are research-related, with others in the fields of accounting, office support, information technology, management, facilities, security, food service and others.

Special Provisions for Internal Applicants
If you're a current Penn staff member, you're required to apply for jobs directly online. You can request your Hiring Officer’s contact information by sending an email to . We'll respond to messages from a valid Penn email address within 24 hours.

Internal applicants should refer to Human Resources Employment Policy 117 regarding transfer eligibility. In general, you must be in your current position at least 6 months, and be in good standing, including satisfactory performance.
