Faculty/Staff Salary Increase Program (SALINC)

This page provides links to guidelines, instructions, and forms required to implement the University's Faculty/ Staff Salary Increase Program. When using the SALINC system to process salary requests, be aware of the following fields:

  • The Account Number field reflects the Chart of Account structure, which is a 26-digit number divided into seven segments.
  • The Position Inventory Number field is a simple sequence number, with no implied relationship between the number and the school or department that owns the position, the job class code, or the relative position within Penn's organizational hierarchy. Not all University employees are assigned a Position Inventory Number. For example, faculty and student workers are not assigned Position Inventory Numbers.
