You'll also receive recommendations on how to improve your health through changing specific behaviors. Independence Blue Cross and AmeriHealth offer information and links to resources that can help you improve your health in a variety of ways, including:

• Eating healthier
• Controlling high blood pressure and cholesterol
• Screening for cancer
• Quitting smoking
• Recovering from addiction
• Managing stress and depression

How do I access my health risk assessment?

Your Penn medical plan determines how you will access your health risk assessment:

• Keystone HMO, UPHS POS (Keystone) and PENNCare/Personal Choice Members—Faculty and staff enrolled in a medical plan administered by Independence Blue Cross can complete a health risk assessment by logging into the Independence Blue Cross online portal at www.ibxpress.com. If you’ve never used this site before, first register a new account. Once you enter the site, click “Personal Health Profile” in the “Healthy Lifestyles” box on the right-hand side of the screen, then choose to “Create your Personal Health Profile Now.”
• AmeriHealth HMO and UPHS POS (AmeriHealth) Members—Faculty and staff enrolled in a medical plan administered by AmeriHealth can complete a health risk assessment by logging into the AmeriHealth online portal at www.amerihealthexpress.com. If you’ve never used this site before, first register a new account.
