Use a PENNCare preferred provider to receive the highest level of
benefits. To find a preferred provider in the PENNCare PPO network, click
on the UPHS logo below.
You can also use Personal Choice preferred providers to receive a high
level of in-network benefits. To find a preferred provider in the Personal
Choice network, click on the Independence Blue Cross logo below.
In addition, you have the option to use providers that are not part of
the PENNCare or Personal Choice preferred provider networks (non-preferred
providers). When you use non-preferred providers, you pay more out of your
pocket. You may use any provider you wish, but if you use providers who
accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, your out-of-pocket expenses may be less. To
