Prepare for the Upcoming Dependent Eligibility Audit
Penn will conduct a dependent eligibility audit for our health plans beginning May 1, 2008. If you‘re an active faculty or staff member who intends to cover dependents under Penn‘s health plans as of July 1, 2008, you‘ll need to be able to provide documentation verifying that your dependents are eligible for coverage under Penn‘s plan rules. The Penn Perspective
Here at Penn, each of us sees a small slice of the University from our personal perspective. But getting a sense of the entire institution from what we see on a day-to-day basis is like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle with most of the pieces missing! The Penn Perspective can give you the rest of those pieces. On June 10 and 11, attendees will hear directly from the University’s academic and administrative leadership about what it takes to keep a large and complex institution functioning at such a high level for so long. 2008 Performance and Staff Development Program
Annual performance appraisals are central to the task of establishing job responsibilities, evaluating the quality of the work being done, and setting goals for the next year. This year, appraisals for all eligible regular staff must be completed and entered into the Performance Appraisal Database by Monday, June 2, 2008. Whether you’re a staff member or a supervisor, be sure to check out the resources available on the Performance and Staff Development Program homepage, where you can find information on everything from how to prepare for an appraisal meeting to which formats are acceptable for a Performance and Staff Development Plan.
